REPAIR WORKS
Vehicle owners are obligated to repair their vehicles as recommended by the workshop even in the case the affected parts / items are not within warranty coverage. Any refusal to do so may render the warranty coverage voids. AZ WARRANTY hereby reserves its rights to refuse any warranty coverage against the same type of repair in any subsequent claim(s), especially in the case of aggravated damage to covered items due to failure in making good their vehicle as recommended by the workshop.
HIDDEN DEFECT
Vehicle owners hereby represents to AZ WARRANTY that the vehicle condition which is subjected to the warranty under this program is as declared to AZ WARRANTY and any hidden defects and/or damage which are within the owner's/sales agent's / ap holder's knowledge but failed to declared, will not be accepted from this warranty coverage.
GENERAL / STANDARD CONDITIONS
- The vehicle shall be serviced and maintained according to the service schedule and / or intervals as stipulated below by AZ Warranty & Service Invoice. (Kindly refer to Page)
- The service record invoice must include the service reference no, signed and stamped by the service / repair centre confirming that the service has been carried out accordingly.
- Any dismantling of components and/or parts and subsequent repairs on the covered warranty part during the warranty period shall only commence upon provisional authorization / approval from AZ Warranty.
- Failure to comply with the above item 1 or item 2 or item 3, your warranty will automatically be void / terminated.
- If the car ownership is transferred or sold within warranty period, the warranty will automatically terminate.
- Claim will be denied for damage caused by: neglect, corrosion, any foreign matter getting into or onto any parts, lack of servicing, overheating or freezing, abuse, damage to parts not covered under this warranty, damage to wear and tear items, correct oil / fluid levels not maintained, intentional damage, riot, vandalism, mischief, act of terrorism, motorsports racing purpose, vehicle used for hire and reward including taxi-hailing / ride-hailing services and Act of God.
- Claim will be denied for damage caused by fire, war, supersonic boom or nuclear radiation. Warranty of repairs will be made entirely at the warranty administrator who reserved the right to either repair/recondition damaged components or to replace damaged components with used / reconditioned components. No action can be taken until warranty administration provides a claim recommendation and approval notice.
- Should you option to replace damaged components with a brand new or franchise components, you shall bear the difference between the cost of the new components and the approved claim amount (new for old) based on costs of components as stated in Condition 7 above. Since the "new for old" parts replacement will result in your vehicle being in better condition than it was before the breakdown, you shall pay towards the costs of the parts.
- Car Owner or Dealer failure to notify or disclose vehicle occurring relevant accident. AZ Warranty has right to avoidance or refusal of your warranty coverage.
- The vehicle occurring accident disqualified to claim any compensation from AZ Warranty within three (3) months after the repaired.
- All claims of warranty must be notified to AZ Warranty immediately. Any parts are disassembled or repaired without the Letter of Approval, AZ Warranty has the right to refusal all compensation. Thus, the warranty not be approved.
- Should no reconditioned or used components available upon exhaustive sourcing out in the market, the settlement amount would be based on the rateable percentage of depreciation to determine the betterment rate to be deducted from the costs of the new or franchise components.
- We reserve the rights to require your repairer to use the parts we source, either reconditioned, used or service exchange parts and to supply such parts to your repairer directly if and when deemed necessary.
- If you failed to comply with any of the terms and conditions of this warranty, your claim will be denied / rejected.
- No claim will be accepted for any consequential loss due to parts not covered by this warranty, including loss of use and the likes.
- Non-disclosure or misrepresentation - this policy is void if you or your representative fail to disclose or misrepresents any material fact.
- Any personal information given us in strict confidence and in compliance with Data Protection Act 2010 for the purpose of providing handling claims, this may mean passing the information to third parties with an implied consent by the customer.
- We reserve the right to alter / modify the conditions without prior notice to customers.
- Warranty of repairs will be made entirely at the warranty administrator who reserved the right to either repair/recondition damage components or to replace damaged component with used / reconditioned. No action can be taken until warranty administration provides a claim recommendation and approval notice.
